Why bring your noise?

Bring your noise has two meanings for me. First, to me, a blog is a place to make noise about things, in a good way, hopefully. Second, and this comes from my librarian-ish perspective (I call myself librarian-ish because I have what is widely accepted as librarian credentials--my MLS; however, I am a cataloger in a System office. I do not actually work in a library. So...am I actually a librarian? I don't know...), I strongly believe that libraries should be full of noise and life. Many already are; many still are not. Much of what I write here will relate to libraries, but not every post because there are too many other interesting things in life that cannot always be ignored.
