Which of the following options is a more appealing vision for the future of public libraries–

1)  Continual fighting with publishers over access to ebooks ( we will ultimately lose the war as the battles keep changing) leading to disappointment and crisis, or this:

2)  Providing “access and education so they [users] can create and contribute to culture, and gain the skills to produce things like the new media creations that will be the successors to the things we call eBooks now?”
